PDFready has two main functions: firstly, it can identify a range of issues such as misalignments and misplaced watermarks, bookmark and hyperlink issues, pagination faults, security settings, legibility, colours and more. Secondly the tool will fix most of these itself, the remainder will be presented to the user in a clear report so that they can decide how to best resolve the issue. At the end, the user will be presented with a fixed PDF which is ready for submission.
“PDFready allows both our CARA customers as well as other Life Science customers using ECM systems to meet the regulatory requirements for PDF content in submissions,” said James Kelleher, CEO of Generis. “PDFready uses automation to avoid human error, making the process of document submission readiness checking easier and quicker.”
PDFReady is available on premise or via REST API from the Generis GxP Cloud, depending on the clients’ requirements.
